Our History
2009
The Passion Begins
What started as a personal love for hand fans quickly sparked something more. In 2009, after gifting beautiful fans from Thailand to friends, I realised others shared the same appreciation. What began as a hobby selling on eBay soon unfolded into a journey I never expected — the beginning of a brand built on passion.
2011
Expanding the Vision
What began as a side project started gaining momentum. As more people fell in love with the fans I shared, it became clear this was more than a hobby. While working full-time at Hilton Hotels and pursuing my MBA, I made the decision to scale the business — planting the seeds of something truly special.
2013
Stepping into the Market
By 2013, the momentum was undeniable. I expanded beyond eBay and launched on major platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and MadeMe. Our fans were now reaching a broader audience — and what once felt like a part-time project was quickly becoming a thriving business.
2016
Creating Our Own Line
With growing demand and a loyal following, it was time to take the next step. In 2016, we proudly launched our own brand — Fans of Fans. This marked a turning point: moving from reselling to designing and crafting our own personalised, custom-made hand fans. It was the beginning of a truly original collection, made with passion and purpose.
2019
A Decade of Growth
Ten years on, Fans of Fans had blossomed into a global brand, offering five unique categories of custom-made hand fans. We had the privilege of collaborating with prestigious clients like The Landmark London and Warner Brothers, with our fans becoming a cherished gift — both for individuals and corporate events alike.
